Mr. Symon Y.W. Wong has been nominated by the Chancellor, in accordance with Statute 11.1(k) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance, as a member of the Council for a period of three years with effect from 1 January 2023. Mr. Wong is experienced in the jurisdiction and legal system in Hong Kong. He is a retired magistrate and has been practising as a barrister in private practice after retirement.

Submissions for highlights should be no more than 500 words in English and 700 characters in Chinese. Contributors are advised to familiarise themselves with the content and format of our newsletter before submission.
