Organised by SEN Service of the Office of Student Affairs, the “Your Voice Matters: Audio Description Training Programme” invited the Audio Description Association (Hong Kong) to provide 15 hours of training for 19 CUHK students from January to March 2023. Through the programme, the trainees acquired not only basic audio description skills but also gained a better understanding of the needs of people with visual impairment, which were all instrumental to their design of the first audio described campus tour at CUHK.

To put their learning into practice, the trainees guided 10 visitors with visual impairment to various attractions at CUHK on 11 March 2023 and delivered lively audio descriptions that allowed the visitors to visualise the hilly campus landscape and immerse themselves in the unique vibes of CUHK without barriers.
