University appointments
New Council appointments
Dr Norman Chan Tak-lam has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the University Council for a term of two years with effect from 18 April 2023.
Reappointments
Mr Eric S.P. Ng, University Secretary, has been reappointed Vice-President (Administration) on a concurrent basis for a further period of three years with effect from 1 May 2023.
Professor Poon Wai-yin, Professor in the Department of Statistics, has been reappointed Pro-Vice-Chancellor on a concurrent basis for a further period of three years with effect from 1 May 2023, and will serve as a Member of the Council for the same period.
New director of Office for Student Affairs
Ms Elaine Tam Yi-lam has been appointed director at the Office of Student Affairs with effect from 3 April 2023.
