Harvard-Yenching Visiting Scholars Programme 2024-25
Applications/nominations are now invited for the Harvard-Yenching Visiting Scholars Programme in 2024-25 (programme details here). This programme offers faculty members in the Humanities and Social Sciences the opportunity to undertake 10 months (from August 2024 to May 2025) of study and research at Harvard University. The Harvard-Yenching Institute (the Institute) will offer a scholarship covering the round-trip economy-class airfare and a stipend of US$7,250 per month for 10-month residence. All full-time teaching appointees who have served at the University for at least three years (joining before August 1, 2021), and are working in the humanities and social sciences with an emphasis on cultural study are eligible for application.

Applicants should submit the completed application forms and requisite supporting documents, with the endorsement of the Department Chairperson/Unit Head and the Faculty Dean as appropriate, to Miss Fion Law, Senior Human Resources Manager on or before July 28, 2023 (Friday) for the University’s consideration. Please note that successful applicants should apply for their own accumulated leave and academic leave (or sabbatical leave if applicable), and/or no-pay study leave to pursue the fellowship programme.
