Five CUHK students recognised among Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Students
Organised by the Hong Kong Youth & Tertiary Students Association, the award aims to recognise and nurture promising students interested in the future development of the Greater Bay Area. It fosters their holistic growth, as well as encouraging them to act as role models to their peers and to contribute to the community. On 17 September this year, five CUHK students were recognised among Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Students. Their video interviews and backgrounds are listed as follows:

Chan Chun-hong | Medicine | Founder of Medi.cue, a medical social platform that brings together different medical innovation and technology talent to offer health information to the public |
Chloe Hui Wing-kiu | Medicine | Founder of a student service organisation that arranges visits to chronic illness patients to offer holistic healing |
Cheng Foon-yu | Pharmacy | Recipient of various scholarships with passion in services. He took part in Hong Kong’s first Covid-19 universal community testing and taught the elderly to manage medications. |
Lam Tsz-yue | Global Business Studies | An active volunteer engaging in social services and youth affairs, such as providing free business management consulting services to social organisations |
Wong Hoi-wing | Medicine | Co-founder of the Hong Kong Student Association of Neuroscience and an aspiring clinician-scientist with a passion for neurosurgery and neuro-oncology |
