Next stop university
The University held its Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions on 15 October, the first held on campus since 2019. The occasion drew some 47,000 visitors, comprising primarily of high schoolers, teachers and parents.
The day was packed with new sessions and admission talks. In the panel discussion for Joint University Programmes Admissions System, aka JUPAS applicants, Professor Andy Wong, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, introduced the admission arrangement for 2023. After that, an interactive session was held between the University’s dean, professors, students and the audience, as the former shared their views on education and tips for choosing major.
On top of that, there were English and Mandarin admission talks, admission sessions and consultations by faculties and departments, a Co-operative Education Programme sharing session and an interview skills workshop, complete with talks on the new data analytics double major programme co-offered by the University and its Shenzhen campus.
