Warm and wise words

The Distinguished Alumni-in-Residence Programme comes back to campus this year from 2 to 5 November under the theme of “Nurture· Dreams· Future”. Three alumni, Cindy Chow Lok Mei-ki (middle), executive director of Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund (United College business administration graduate, class of 1992), Jenny Chiu Wai-han (left), executive director and senior director of human resources at New World Development Company Limited (Chung Chi College sociology graduate, class of 1993), and Norris Lam Man-ngar (right), partner of Forbes Global and steering committee chairperson of Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award (New Asia College business administration graduate, class of 1997) will come forward to share their insights and personal trajectories with the University community.

Through nine programmes spanning four days, the three business leaders will enlighten students and young alumni with different perspectives on talent cultivation and development, fuelling young talents on their way to dreams. Additionally, each alumnus will mentor two students for six months, gearing them up with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the business world. Registered participants of designated programmes will have the chance of being selected as mentees.
