A scholarship that marries theory and pragmatism

Looking out for chances to brush up on your academic and professional prowess, while making friends and developing skills that will stand you in good stead as you tackle the toughest challenges of today’s world? Stanford’s Knight-Hennessy Scholars programme is for you.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a multidisciplinary, multicultural graduate scholarship programme at Stanford University. Each Knight-Hennessy scholar receives up to three years of financial support covering full tuition plus a stipend to pursue graduate studies at Stanford, while participating in rewarding experiences that prepare scholars to be visionary, courageous, and collaborative leaders who address complex challenges facing the world. The scholars come from around the world, representing more than 60 countries and over a hundred graduate programmes, including professional programmes like MBA, MD, JD, LLD and doctoral programmes in all seven schools. The co-curricular programme is designed to develop collaborative leaders and includes skills development courses, scholar retreats, and global travel-study. You are eligible to apply if you earned, or will earn, your bachelor’s degree in 2017 or later.

CUHK is hosting an information session on the Knight-Hennessy Scholars programme on the morning of 4 April. Stay tuned for more updates.
