Chung Chi College launched its Young Leaders Award on 17 October, giving out awards to eight exemplary College freshmen in recognition of their outstanding performance in academic and various areas. Over 70 guests, College members, awardees and their family members and secondary school principals attended the launch ceremony.

Sponsored by United Overseas Bank for its inaugural edition, the latest flagship award by Chung Chi College aims to cultivate students embodying excellence in academics and sports, virtue and talent, and spirituality enhancement. Awardees will each get a scholarship of up to $150,000 during his or her normative study years, and also have a chance of participating in a series of leadership training programmes, such as organising leadership talk series, interning in renowned organisations, and engaging in community services.
