The University held its information day for undergraduate admissions on 21 October, drawing more than 60,000 high schoolers, parents and teachers to campus.

The all-day event was kicked off by the panel discussion, Admission Talk for JUPAS Applicants: Face to Face with CUHKers, with Director of Admissions and Financial Aid Professor Andy Wong explaining the admission arrangements for 2024. He was joined by alumna and teachers of commercial, engineering and medical backgrounds and CUHK students in an interactive session with the audience, where they shared their views on education, admission and tips in choosing majors.

JUPAS talks aside, the information day included English and Mandarin talks introducing other admission routes. The eight faculties and their various departments also held multiple admission talks and consultation sessions. Two talks on the aerospace science and earth informatics plus X double major, a joint programme by CUHK and CUHK (Shenzhen) to be launched in 2024, were given, which saw a great deal of interest from students and parents.
