Mrs Ann Kung Yeung Yun-chi and Mr Eric Ma Siu-cheung have been nominated by the Chancellor, in accordance with Statute 11.1(k) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance, as Members of the Council for a period of three years with effect from 27th November, 2023.

Mrs Kung has a strong background in financial services with extensive knowledge in personal banking.  She previously served as deputy chief executive of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOCHK) and was appointed as an advisor in August 2022. She is also a director of BOCHK Charitable Foundation and a director of the Community Chest.

Mr Ma is an engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry.  He is currently the chief executive officer of NWS Holdings Limited and an executive director of New World Development Company Limited. He was secretary for development of the Hong Kong government in 2017.
