Beauty unregretted

Lam Hiu-man, an alumna of CUHK and the page founder of “Hong Kong Reminiscence”, was invited to host the “Beyond Success Talk Series: Moments Eternal, Beauty Unregretted” organised by the Learning and Cultural Enhancement Section of the Office of Student Affairs on 13 March.

In the talk, Hiu-man shared her story on writing and publishing her book Hong Kong Reminiscence: Documents of Hong Kong’s Old Stories such as after the interview, even though the cream rolls were sold out, the baker deliberately made a fresh batch for her. Hiu-man also elaborated on connecting the past with the future through images with around 50 audience. She reminded the students that they should stay curious and to stay connected to the world.
