Three Faculty of Medicine professors ranked country’s top five female scientists

Three professors from the Faculty of Medicine have been named among the country’s top five and the best among Hong Kong institutions in the ”Best Female Scientists in the World 2024 Ranking” released recently by Research.com, a leading academic platform for researchers. Among all, Professor Jun Yu from the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics ranks 1st nationally and 96th globally.

The goal of the ranking is to inspire female scientists with role models and to provide more recognition, visibility, and equal opportunities for women in science.

The other two other CUHK professors that were honoured are Professors Jean Woo and Juliana Chan Chung-ngor, also from the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics.
