Representatives from CUHK and Yunnan institutions gather to promote cultural exchange and collaboration

Delegates and outstanding students from Yunnan Province visit CUHK

A delegation comprising representatives from the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and more than 30 students and teachers from top Yunnan universities visited CUHK on 11 November, marking the second exchange of the kind between the two places.

The students come from Yunnan University, Kunming University of Science and Technology and Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During their visit, the Yunnan delegates engaged in a series of enriching exchange activities at CUHK, including a sharing session among students, a visit to the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change at CUHK and a guided tour of CUHK’s iconic landmarks.

The Student Experience and Development Section of the Office of Student Affairs, in charge of the reception of the visiting delegation, noted that the purpose of the visit was to promote cultural exchange between Hong Kong and Yunnan, while providing a platform for enhanced learning and collaboration in student development and cultural exchange between students and educators from both places.
