Celebrating the success in teaching and learning

The Teaching and Learning Innovation Expo, an annual event at CUHK which provides a platform for educators to exchange innovative teaching ideas and practices, was held at CUHK on 11-12 December.  Since its inception in 2007, the Expo is jointly organised by the Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research, the Centre for eLearning Innovation and Technology, and the Information Technology Services Centre.

The event featured three keynote speeches by the recipients of the CUHK University Education Award 2024, who shared their inspiring teaching stories and philosophies, and 47 other speeches covering 12 critical topics on innovative teaching pedagogies and practices.

The event also showcased 114 poster presentations, among which 81 were from CUHK and nine from CUHK Shenzhen, with the rest from other local universities. To enhance the visibility and impact of the award-winning poster presentations, the Expo inaugurated a panel discussion where the moderator and four CUHK poster awardees shared their forward-thinking and practical strategies to foster deeper student engagement in an evolving educational landscape.
