CUHK receives over HK$69 million from RGC’s Collaborative Research Fund 2024-25
Thirteen research projects led by CUHK have received grants totalling over HK$69 million from the Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) 2024-25 by the Research Grants Council (RGC). Among them, eight projects have been awarded a Collaborative Research Project Grant, two received a Collaborative Research Equipment Grant and three secured a Young Collaborative Research Grant.
CUHK’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Sham Mai-har says: “Research collaboration accelerates the achievement of academic research and enhances innovation by pooling diverse expertise. CUHK is pleased to have received over HK$69 million from the CRF this year, enabling the initiation of 13 innovative collaborative projects spanning various fields not limited to medicine, electronic engineering, environmental science and linguistics, showcasing our multidimensional research capabilities. We look forward to the ground-breaking research outcome that these projects will achieve, which will bring positive impact beyond academic and significantly benefit society as a whole.”
