Exploring new horizons at Minor Programme and Learning Expo

The Office of Student Affairs hosted the inaugural Minor Programme and Learning Expo 2025 on 16 January at Yasumoto International Park, attracting over 800 participants.

Professor Isabella Poon Wai-yin, Acting Provost and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the significance of minor programmes in enriching students’ academic and personal growth, underscoring CUHK’s dedication to whole-person education.

The expo, organised by OSA’s Learning and Cultural Enhancement Section, featured over 50 minor programmes with booths where representatives of participating departments providing guidelines and useful information for interested undergraduate students. Students also attended talks and sharing sessions on topics such as University General Education, entrepreneurship, exchange programmes, and the Co-operative Education Programme, which combined classroom-based education with practical work experience.

The event was a collaborative effort involving 35 academic units and professional and administrative services units at CUHK.
